We can arrange accommodation to suit your preference and budget - from lodging with a local family to residing in a private villa or 4 star hotel on the beachfront. You may choose between:

• Living with a Spanish family
• Sharing and Apartment with other students.
• Renting an Apartment or Villa
• Living in a local Spanish Hostel
• Living in one of La Herradura’s Hotels
• Camping

Spanish Families

You will be considered as an adopted member of the family. This option is a perfect way to practice Spanish and to absorb the culture of the Andalusian people. A private room with half board will be provided during the extent of your stay. The towels and bed linen will be changed weekly.

Apartment Share

This is perhaps the best way to meet new friends and have fun. You will have your own bedroom and will share the other facilities (including kitchen, bathroom and living room). Each apartment has a washing machine. Towels and bed linen are supplied and will be changed weekly.

Apartment Rental

This option affords you the opportunity to mix with fellow students and the local people without the loss of privacy. Apartments are available either on the beachfront or in the village. All are equipped with washing machine, towels and bed linen. Towels and linen are changed weekly.

NB: If you want to enjoy the luxury of living in your own villa with wonderful views of the sea and surrounding areas then contact us and we can arrange something appropriate. Please bear in mind that villas and luxury apartments may not be situated as close to the school as the more modest accommodation available and may require the use of a car or other means of transport. If needed, we can arrange car hire.

Hostel (Pension)

In the heart of the village, surrounded by typical white Andalusian houses and streets festooned with flowers, you will lodge in a Spanish hostel. Unlike hostels in Britain the Spanish Hostel provides the visitor with a private room and a level of comfort and facilities approximately equal to a one star hotel.

San Nicolas Suites (suites)

Ruth and David would like to welcome you to their two lovely suites, available to rent for holidaymakers wishing to enjoy the stunning beauty of La Herradura and the surrounding area on the Costa Tropical. Both of the suites are located in the beautiful, peaceful and tranquil San Nicolas area of La Herradura with lovely views of the Western side of the Bay and less than a 10 minute stroll to the beach, village, cafes, restaurants and bars. The owners live in the villa to which the suites are ajoined, without compromising your privacy as both suites have their own private entrance and spacious terraces.

Hotel

We highly recommend La Herradura's newly constructed three star hotel ‘Almijara’ - within one minute’s walk of our centre. The advantages of living in a hotel are obvious, for instance, no cooking, no cleaning and no washing up! Half or full board is available. The hotel has an excellent roof terrace with views of the whole village and bay. A wonderful place to spend your evening!

Camping

For the more adventurous, we can arrange accommodation at the ‘Nuevo Camping’ site in La Herradura. This camping site is situated 15 minutes from our language centre, which is a very enjoyable walk along the beachfront. There you can put up your own tent or hire a caravan. The site is opposite the beach and is shaded by chirimoya (custard apple) and avocado trees. There is a supermarket on site.

Pension LA HERRADURA
This small hostel is located in the Heart of the village. It is only a few minutes walk from the school and very close to the beach and from the shop and restaurant area. The hostel incorporates a bar/restaurant, and has enough space on their roof terrace or their Andalusian patio to organize gatherings.

Hostal Peña Parda
This hostel is located right on the beach front although it is about 8 minutes walk from the center of town and from the school. This hostel is slightly larger and has sea views from the rooms, a very welcoming bar restaurant with fireplace and a seafront patio/terrace.
