Intensive Course

• 4 hours daily from Monday to Friday
• Each day consists of two blocks the first introduces grammatical terms and examples – here you will hear and participate in written exercises. After the break the second block allows you to practice in a conversation environment, (listening and speaking) to what you have just learned earlier.
• Minimum four students and maximum eight students in class
• Levels: Beginners, Elementary, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, Advanced I and Advanced II

Intensive One to One

Due to the importance given to personal coaching and study plans by our teachers, this course is one of the most successful.
• 2 or 4 hours daily from Monday to Friday – adapted to your particular needs.
• Levels: Beginners, Elementary, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, Advanced I and Advanced II

Teenager Courses

Centro de Idiomas El Mar has been chosen by various high schools around the world in order to provide a fun yet very successful Spanish teaching program.
• 2 hours daily from Monday to Friday,
• Each day consists of learning Spanish in a fun environment. Groups of 3 to 7. The teenagers will also experience the local culture through excursions and activities in the company of their Spanish teacher. (Whilst in Spain, teenagers must be accompanied by an adult)

Child Courses

• 2 hours daily from Monday to Friday,
• Each day consists of learning Spanish in a fun environment. We play games, we paint, we listen to music. We use all of the educational methods of learning that children enjoy.
• Groups of 3 to 6 children. (Whilst in Spain, the children must be accompanied by an adult)

Preparation for D.E.L.E. (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera)
If you are thinking about learning Spanish seriously .... make it official.

• This special course prepares the student for the D.E.L.E examination which takes place twice a year in Granada and Malaga.
• 2 hours daily from Monday to Friday 1 to 1 or in groups of exact same level.
• Exam tuition not included.

Residents, expats and +50

Our school is the first one on the coast to develop a special course dedicated to residents or people above the age of 50 who are planning on living in Spain part time or full time. These students require special attention, a proper study plan and close control of their progress in order to learn efficiently. This course allows students a very flexible schedule so that classes are never in conflict with their everyday life. This course is offered one to one or in very small groups of residents.

Spanish survival Skills

Some students are just interested in grasping the basic of the language and do not want to spend too much time in school. They much prefer spending time visiting the area and experiencing the culture. For those people the school offer a Spanish Survival Skill course which takes place for only 1 hour every day during 2 or 3 weeks.

Business Spanish

This course is particularly successful for people interested in doing business in a Spanish-speaking environment. Many international companies that have open branches in Spain have had their employees go through our courses to reach a good level of competance in Spanish with the particular language skills necessary for an office or work environment.
