Language Teaching

The primary objective of our courses is for the student to obtain a good level of spoken and written Spanish. For this reason it is very important for us to manage to bring the class, as much as possible to the reality of the Spanish language, using for this purpose social and cultural elements that are relative to the Hispanic world.

Our program is built upon a daily subject around which the teacher develops the different language aspects, which help the student ´s understanding and learning process. For every subject the class will study communication, practical grammar, vocabulary and its social usage. Classes can involve activities in which the students will have to take field trips to public places such as the local market or shops.

The school specialises in academic Spanish:

Courses are divided into six levels, level one is Breakthrough or A1 level and Level 6 is Mastery or C2 level. The time spent at each level varies from two to four weeks. An assessment is conducted on the first day of the course to ascertain the most appropriate entry level for the student. Thereafter, the student’s progress is maintained by observation and regular in-class assessments. In this way the teaching staff will monitor, guide and encourage you to achieve the most satisfying learning experience.

Academic courses are Intensive group, Intensive one to one, Teenager course, Children course, Business Spanish course. All these courses follow the European Common Framework of Reference for languages.

Our program of courses is structured over the six levels of the European Common Framework of Reference for languages:
A1 Breakthrough, A2 Waystage, B1 Threshold, B2 Vantage, C1 Effective Operational Proficiency, and C2 Mastery

Those students who wish to pass the D.E.L.E (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjero) – “The Spanish Language Diploma for Foreigners” can prepare for it by following our special D.E.L.E. syllabus. The test is conducted either in Granada or Malaga at the specified test centre. The Examination Fee is extra.

Our teachers use a wide range of aids and methods to ensure rich and diverse courses . We use Videos, CDs, Newspapers, Magazines, Literature, Spanish Films amongst other sources.

All our students will receive a Certificate of Achievement on completion of the course.

Not only do we teach but we coach and motivate students in every way we can. We make sure that students will be given the proper course according to their needs and preference. The school teaches to a very wide range of students and every single one of them learns in a different way. For this reason the school has developed a wide program with courses adapted to the students various needs:

Children, teenagers, university students, adults, business people and retired persons all learn differently - for this reason we will never mix them and will always make sure every one has chosen the proper course.
